About Textlocal
Textlocal provided a suite of tools for businesses to engage with customers via mobile messaging. Its core product, the Messenger platform, allowed users to send and receive messages, manage broadcast campaigns, and integrate SMS functionality into their own applications via an API. The service operated on a pre-paid credit basis for sending messages. As of late 2025, Textlocal is in the process of being fully sunsetted. All existing accounts, services, and API functionalities are being transitioned to Webex Interact, which is positioned as a more advanced solution with additional communication channels and tools.
Platform Sunset Notice
Important Announcement
The Textlocal Messenger platform will be decommissioned from 30th November 2025.
Migration Path
All existing customers are being asked to migrate their accounts and services to the new Webex Interact platform.
Service Discontinuation
From the sunset date, all messaging capabilities, including sending, receiving, campaigns, and APIs, will cease to function on Textlocal.
Pre-Paid Credits
Existing pre-paid credits will be transferred to the new Webex Interact account upon migration.
