About Cosmonic
Cosmonic Control provides a Kubernetes-native WebAssembly control plane designed to enhance, not replace, existing platform investments. It integrates directly into clusters using CRDs and an Operator, respecting existing namespaces, RBAC, and security policies. This allows platform teams to deploy highly-efficient, sandboxed WebAssembly components alongside traditional containers without re-architecting their pipelines. Key benefits include sub-millisecond start times, scale-to-zero capabilities, and a zero-trust isolation model that improves security. By increasing workload density and reducing idle compute, Cosmonic helps lower operational costs while enabling portable, language-agnostic applications that can run on any cloud, on-premises, or edge environment.
Platform Integration
Kubernetes Native
Integrates with existing clusters via CRDs and an Operator, respecting existing RBAC, namespaces, and policies.
Ci/Cd Integration
Supports declarative, signed, and immutable deployments with tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Backstage.
Unified Observability
Provides first-class OpenTelemetry support to unify logs, metrics, and traces across containers and Wasm components.
WebAssembly Advantages
Performance & Cost
Wasm components start in microseconds, scale to zero, and pack densely to reduce idle compute costs.
Security
Components run in a shared-nothing, capability-based sandbox that enforces least privilege and prevents lateral movement.
Portability
Language-agnostic Wasm components can run across cloud, on-premises, and edge environments without code changes.
